Magnums shared facilities are available to all our in-house guests. Our facilities have all been renovated and refurbished and we continue to innovate and add extra services and products, to create the best experience possible for all our guests.
Tour, Information desk and Reception
We are here to help book any tour you can think of! We are well known for our competitive tour prices and packages. We offer a complete range of day, sunset and overnight sailing tours, adventure and mainland tours, group packages, airport transfers, bus and train tickets. Our team offer professional and genuine advice and we are a passionate bunch! Don’t hesitate to come and ask questions, our team truly are the experts at everything “Whitsundays”!
Our Reception and Tour Desk is open from 8am to 8pm daily (Closed Christmas Day) and is located on the main street, under the clock tower, right in the heart of Airlie Beach. Our Reception team can also help with extra linen, blankets, hair dryers, washing powder and Eco travel bags.
Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area
Our shared kitchen offers everything to cook like a chef! Stovetops, air fryers, microwaves, sandwich presses, toasters, hot water on tap and lots of fridge space… perfect to whip up a homemade meal in minutes. Magnums is also located seconds from the local supermarket. Don’t forget to get your fridge baskets and labels from the team at Reception… We like our fridges neat and tidy!
Magnums also offers a BBQ area, perfect to cook a feast, while enjoying the surroundings and catching up with your in-house friends.
Car parking
Magnums offers free car parking at the rear of our property. The car park can be accessible from the back gate at the back of the resort and requires a code. Car park permit and code will be given at the time of check in. Your parking permit must be clearly displayed on the inside dash of your vehicle in order to avoid the possibility of a parking infringement notice being issued. This car park is only for registered guests of Magnums and is monitored by CCTV cameras.
Laundry facility
Magnums offers a 24/7coin-operated laundry facility, located at the rear of the resort. If you require change or washing powder, please see our team at Reception.
Please note that all machines are used at guest's own risk.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests throughout the entire resort, including all cabins. It is important to note that the signal may not be very strong during certain times of the day and inside some of the private rooms. However, a strong and reliable signal can be found at Reception, at our BBQ area and in the rec and tech room. Stay connected during your stay at Magnums! No password required. If you are experiencing difficulties with the WiFi connection while staying with us, please let us know so we can investigate! The more details the better!
Hammock and picnic areas
Magnums is full of amazing spots to discover in our tropical gardens, perfect to laze around with a nice book. Take a walk, and discover our little Whitsunday paradise!
Indoor rec and tech room
Situated at the rear of the resort, the indoor rec and tech room is the place to relax or watch a movie on our huge smart TV. Computers are also available for use as well as our book exchange.
Beach volleyball court and outdoor gym
A hit for anyone wanting to keep up with their fitness, even on holidays! Our beach volleyball court and outdoor gym equipment are available for all our in-house guests to use. Time for a game?
Luggage storage
Magnums luggage storage is a fully secured, weatherproof luggage storage facility for guests to use before, during, or after their stay with us. See the team at Reception for more info and opening hours. Cost is $5 per person per night (overnight).
Room/bathrooms with wheelchair access
Magnums offers a limited number of private rooms with wheelchair access and disabled bathroom facilities. Please let our friendly team know if you have any special requirements, we are here to help!
Book Exchange
Magnums has a book exchange facility, located in our rec and tech room at the back of the resort (next to our laundry). Our guests are welcome to take books, and if possible, leave the ones you have already read, so that someone else can enjoy...
Kiosk items at Reception and free stuff!
Magnums kiosk is situated at Magnums Reception. We provide useful items for travellers such as extra blankets, hair straighteners, washing powder and ECO travel bags. We can also print documents for you and store valuables.
Our team also has local visitor guides and maps available for our guests and customers.
Use of facilities Terms and Conditions
Magnums is for registered guests only – no visitors are permitted on the property. Fees will apply for unregistered guests and late checkouts. Checked out guests must not re-enter to use our facilities unless by prior written arrangement with management.
You may be asked by a member of our team to show your room key. Please cooperate fully as we are all doing our best to provide a safe and clean environment for our in-house guests.
Important information is displayed on our noticeboards, situated around the resort.
Reception, check in and Tour Desk
Our Reception, check in and tour desk are open daily from 8am to 8pm. We are closed on Christmas Day only. Our team can help with information, kiosk items, tours, and of course anything related to our accommodation, such as check ins and check outs, extending your stay etc. Our Reception is located on the main street, under the Clocktower, right in the heart of Airlie Beach (between Magnums Hotel and Live Life Chemist).
Kitchen
The shared kitchen is open daily from 7:30am to 9:00pm. Baskets and labels are available at Reception and must be used for any food stored in the communal fridges. All loose items that are not in labelled baskets will be discarded by our Housekeeping team on a daily basis. Please be mindful and respectful of other guests by cleaning spills and messes, washing and drying your plates, cutlery and cooking equipment/utensils. To ensure all guests can enjoy our facilities, please do not remove plates, cutlery and other items from the kitchen. Please do not take back to your room or cabin.
Luggage storage
Luggage storage can be purchased at Reception. Cost is $5 per person / per night (overnight).Luggage storage is available from 8am to 5pm daily – please check your luggage storage ticket for the opening hours. It is important to note that we respect and maintain the security of your luggage at all times, however, Magnums does not take any responsibility for lost property. For security reasons, if your ticket is lost, a new one must be purchased at Reception. Luggage storage is open for approximately 5 minutes each time.
Laundry
Laundry is open 24 hours for all our in-house guests only. Please see Reception for coins. Washing powder can be also be purchased at Reception. Please clean dryer filters before use and do not leave your clothes in the machines overnight. It is important to note that all machines are used at guest's own risk. The machines and coins mechanisms are maintained regularly to prevent any issues for our guests. There are alternative machines and laundromats close by if you choose to use them. Please enquire at Reception for directions. We are here to help, any problems with any of our machines should be reported to our team at Reception as soon as noticed.

How to contact us after hours?
If you require assistance after hours, please call 1 800 624 634. For after hours concerns, please call our after hours contact number or you may wish to speak to one of our friendly staff members when the Reception office opens in the morning.
For security matters, please call our security providers InFront Security on 0417 641 164. Please be aware there may be a fee of up to $100 if you do request a security callout that is deemed to be “not urgent or unnecessary”. Please ensure you always have your key with you as charges will apply if you have locked yourself out of your room after hours.
